I can't seem to stop picking skin off my fingertips.
It's a nervous habit I've had for 70 years.
By all rights, I should get infections in spots where I picked the skin off down to the
"quick," where it makes me bleed.
But since I've been doing this for 70 years, I seem to be immune to all the infections that I can get that way. I suppose that's a plus.
The only thing that works is wearing a glove on at least one hand.
