Once, there was a saying, "Another day, another dollar"
With a variant which said, "Another day, another dollar in debt"

I was thinking of a song which went something like "By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea, you and me, you and me, oh how happy we'll be..."

Now I've got to look it up and see how the rest of it goes.
